Explore the ancient art of Bonsai at the Four Seasons Bonsai Club’s 47th Annual Show. Bonsai “bone-sigh” is a Japanese art form using trees grown in containers that are meticulously cared for to replicate the shape and style of a mature, full-sized tree.
At the show, you will witness a massive bonsai exhibit on display, partake in workshops, watch live demonstrations and enjoy a vendor area filled with bonsai trees, pots and tools for sale. If you ever wanted learn bonsai, this is the time and place.
We are proud to have Bonsai Master, John Wall, as our guest judge. Be sure to see Mr. Wall’s live styling demonstration on a massive tree Saturday at 12:00 and his bonsai lecture on Sunday at 10am. You will not want to miss these events.
Create a magical oasis for your fairies to enjoy in this hands on workshop for all ages. Topics will include plants, fairy fun, soil coverings, fairy décor and accents. Bring your own container to use or purchase one when you get here. We’ll provide the fun, the knowledge, and a few amendments like rocks, sand and potting soil.
Workshop fee is $10, plus the cost of materials used. Price includes one adult with one child.
